Peyton Russell Peyton has been nominated for three different awards including the Rochester Institute of Technology Computing Medal, the St. Michael’s Book Award and the Gellert Cornell Admissions Invitation. Peyton has earned these honors because he is at the top of his class and proves daily that he challenges himself academically, is kind and compassionate to his fellow students and teachers and is involved in a variety of extracurricular activities. The RIT Computing Medal award is for $7,000 per year upon enrollment, the St. Michael’s Book Award is anywhere from $12,000 to full tuition upon enrollment, as well as a book and the Cornell Admissions Initiation invites Peyton to apply to Cornell, as well as awards him a sweatshirt. In addition to these awards, Peyton will be representing Greenville at this year’s Boy’s State. Peyton was chosen for his high qualities of leadership, character, scholarship and service. This opportunity is provided by Greenville Post #291, American Legion. Congratulations Peyton! #GHSBlog
