Greenville High School Dear Parents/Guardians: It is with great sadness that we inform you of the death of Peter Johnson Jr., our coach and substitute teacher, Debra, his mother, and the serious injury of Peter Johnson Sr., our bus driver, last Friday, April 3 in a car accident. Mr. Johnson was our JV Basketball and JV Baseball coach for the past two and three years respectively. The entire Greenville Central School District is feeling this loss, and we are coming together as a community to support the family, our students, faculty, and staff. On Monday morning, counselors and psychologists will be available to meet with students, faculty, and staff as needed. Parents are encouraged to discuss this tragedy with their children and assist them in their grief. Please call your child’s guidance counselor if you would like assistance or ideas of how to speak with your child.
