Greenville High School The Greenville Central School Board of Education is pleased to announce the appointment of Tammy J. Sutherland, Interim Superintendent, to the position of Superintendent of Schools effective immediately. Ms. Sutherland has served GCSD for thirty years, twenty of these as Business Administrator/Assistant Superintendent for Business. She was appointed Interim Superintendent in October 2015. Ms. Sutherland holds a School Business Administrators Certificate and a School District Administrators Certificate. The Board discussed all of its options on selecting a new Superintendent, including conducting an outside search. However, the Board unanimously came to the conclusion that the best person to lead our School District forward at this time was already working for us and our children. Tammy Sutherland has dedicated all of her professional life to this District and educating our children. In sum, we know her very well. Her combined integrity, dedication and experience, as well as her demonstrated leadership, will serve our community well as we plan for the future. #GHSBlog
