Each May we recognize students in the 11th grade with junior scholarships and awards. Many of these awards are connected to a potential money award if students successfully apply and are accepted to the college/university offering the award. I would like to share information about this year’s awards: Below you will see a list of the awards students will be receiving. Each day starting on May 8th we will announce a student’s name and the award(s) they have earned. A brief description of the award and bio of the student receiving will be read over the morning announcements and the student will be asked to come to the office to pick up their award(s). We will be posting this information each day in a display case near the main entrance of the high school. We hope to build excitement throughout the month of May among all of our students by highlighting the extraordinary work of our award recipients. Lastly, to honor those students recognized we will have a recognition breakfast for recipients, their parents, and teachers the morning of June 2nd. More information regarding the breakfast will be sent to parents of award recipients. We are excited to recognize the hard work and dedication of our students and look forward to sharing in their excitement! Please let me know if you have any questions regarding this year’s junior awards.
